Labor I is a 4 hour, uncut music performance in which experimentally in rotating cycles all participants play all instruments. The fixed distribution of roles as known from conventional music groupings is dissolved and there were no pre-arranged agreements regarding the length of the pieces or their implementation. The sounds of the room and the pauses in the performance thus become part of Labor I.
